Real-Time International Collaborative Hypospadias Database (RICH)
The purpose of the RICH database is to build a unified multi-center data repository for hypospadias cases. This will help explore short and long-term outcomes and will be regularly updated to answer newly emerging clinical questions. The database could potentially facilitate high-level evidence needed in hypospadias surgery, collaborative research among pediatric urologists and dynamically integrate new variables to answer emerging questions with secured data access policies.
Purpose
To build a unified multi-centre data repository for hypospadias cases that helps to explore short and long-term outcomes and is dynamically updated to answer newly emerging clinical questions
Benefits
- Evaluating long-term clinical outcomes of patients with hypospadias
 - Standardized multicentre computer-based database
 - Joint Authorship of resulting manuscripts
 - High-level evidence needed in hypospadias surgery
 - Facilitate collaborative research among pediatric urologists
 - Dynamically integrate new variables to answer newly emerging questions
 - Secured Data Access Policy
